Foundation of Gelişim University:
- Istanbul Gelişim University started in 2008 when the Gelişim Foundation for Education, Culture, Health and Social Services started establishing a vocational school, and from here it started educating students.
- Then in the year 2011, Istanbul Gelişim University was established. Its beginning was with 6 faculties, two educational schools, and two vocational schools, and it has expanded since then and over the last ten years to become one of the strong universities among modern Türkish universities and to get the first place in terms of the number of specializations in Türkiye.
