General Information about Altinbas University:
- Altinbas is a Turkish private university established in 2008. It was formerly called Kemerburgaz University; its name has been changed to Altinbas.
- The university has three campuses in the areas of Bağcılar- “Mahmutbey Campus”, Bakırköy-” Bakırköy Campus”, and Gayrettepe-“Gayrettepe Campus”.

Documents required to apply to Altinbas University:
First, the required documents for the undergraduate program:
- A Passport copy
- A personal photograph
- Secondary school academic transcript or a statement of grades for the first semester of 12th class in case the student has not completed secondary school.
- Secondary school graduation certificate “diploma”, if any
Second, the documents required for the postgraduate program:
- Passport copy
- A personal photograph
- Bachelor’s degree for the applicant to the Masters program and Bachelor’s and Master’s degree for the applicant of Ph.D. program.
- Bachelor’s academic transcript for the applicant to the master’s program and bachelor’s and master’s academic transcript for the applicant of the Ph.D. program.
The language tests accepted by the university and the minimum requirements for each test as an alternative to the English language proficiency test:
First: undergraduate stage “The validity period for all these tests is only two years”:
- TOEFL IBT with a minimum score of 70
- ALTINBAS University Exam with a minimum score of 60%
- PTE with a minimum score of 55
- FCE with a minimum score of C
- CAE with a minimum score of C
- CPE with a minimum score of C
- YDS with a minimum score of 85
Second, the postgraduate stage: “The validity period of all these tests is only two years”:
- TOEFL IBT with a minimum score of 70 for engineering programs, 75 for management and literary majors, and 79 for medical programs.
- ALTINBAS University Exam with a minimum score of B1 for engineering programs and B2 for management programs and medical specialties.
- PTE with a minimum score of 55 for engineering programs and 60 for general administration and literary majors.
- FCE with a minimum score of C for Engineering, Management, and Literary programs and B for Literary majors
- CAE with a minimum score of C for engineering, management, and literary programs and B for literary majors
- CPE with a minimum score of C for all programs
- YDS with a minimum score of 85 for all programs
